Per-person serving sizes of basic food items
I got to thinking, I've got my 50-lb. bags of rice, 6-gallon Mylar bags of bean mixes, case after case of canned vegetables and fruits and many other prep items, but now that I think about it, I don't have any figures on recommended portion sizes based on, say, a 2000-calorie a day diet that's recommended for most people. Anyone have any figures that can be used to calculate how far various food items in our stashes will go?
